August 20-22 my family spent the weekend in Chicago… mom, dad, Jared, Tam, Ava, Wil, Mary Ella, Jason and me (Ben had to work :( … we missed him). We braved the glass bottom box on the observation floor of the Willis (Sears) Tower. We found the set of the new Transformers movie. We checked out Ben & Mary Ella’s reception facility, Fulton’s on the River. We went to Navy Pier. We took a boat architecture tour on a river through the city of Chicago. We went to a Chicago Cubs baseball game. We had pizza at Giardano’s. It was a blast! Here are a few pictures from the weekend:
